A Bit About Me
Michelle Allen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8 years of experience working in community mental health specializing in young adults.
If you're someone who's always putting others first through listening, helping, and achieving- you may rarely pause to care for yourself. You might overthink, second guess, or struggle with self-worth, carrying responsibilities for others while feeling unseen. Therapy can feel unfamiliar, or intimidating, but it can also be a space to finally slow down, reflect, and give yourself the attention you've been saving for everyone else. Whether you are starting or finishing college, figuring out a career path, managing independence, or redefining relationships and identity, you will not have to face it alone.
Michelle aims to provide a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns at your own pace. Michelle will help you focus on your goals using practical approaches in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. Michelle will walk alongside you as you build insight, confidence, healthy boundaries, and the tools to navigate life's challenges.
Taking that first step towards prioritizing yourself can feel vulnerable and uncertain. Please reach out if you feel she may be a good fit to start your therapy journey
