Destiny-Rae Bartlett

I am a pre-licensed therapist with a Master of Social Work from the University of New England. My clinical background includes work in disability services as well as acute care and crisis settings. In acute care, I supported individuals and families during some of the most overwhelming and vulnerable moments of their lives—when emotions are heightened, decisions feel urgent, and stability can feel out of reach.

That experience shaped the way I practice today. I am not afraid of someone’s worst day. I can sit with intensity, uncertainty, and pain without rushing to fix or minimize it. I understand how important it is to feel steady, supported, and respected in those moments. Whether you are navigating trauma, life transitions, health concerns, or emotional overwhelm, I bring a grounded and calm presence into the room.

At the same time, my work is not just about getting through crises—it is about enhancing overall wellbeing. I take a values-based, goal-oriented approach that helps clients build skills, strengthen resilience, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and sustainable. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process. I do not take the lead in your life—you are the expert on your experiences. My role is to walk alongside you, offer insight and structure when helpful, and support you in building the tools you need to thrive.
