Destiny-Rae Bartlett

Destiny is a pre-licensed therapist with a Master of Social Work from the University of New England. Her clinical background includes work in disability services as well as acute care and crisis settings. In acute care, she supported individuals and families during some of the most overwhelming and vulnerable moments of their lives—when emotions are heightened, decisions feel urgent, and stability can feel out of reach.

This has shaped the way Destiny practices today. She is not afraid of someone’s worst day. She will sit with intensity, uncertainty, and pain without rushing to fix or minimize it. She understands how important it is to feel steady, supported, and respected in those moments. Whether a client is navigating trauma, life transitions, health concerns, or feeling emotional overwhelmed, she brings a grounded and calm presence into the room.

Destiny's work is not just about getting through crises—it is about enhancing overall well-being. She practices a values-based, goal-oriented approach that helps clients build skills, strengthen resilience, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and sustainable. She believes therapy works best as a collaborative process. She does not take the lead in the client's life— recognizing that the client is the expert of their own experiences. Her role is to walk alongside the client, offer insight and structure when helpful, and support the client in building the tools they need to thrive.
